Film synopsis

"With Immigration Law under attack, five first-generation Immigration lawyers (who call themselves “The Tribe”) strive to help immigrants obtain safety and status in the United States. Through a chronicle of their professional and personal lives, this film aims to present the effects of the current administration through the perspectives of active immigration lawyers in the Los Angeles area.

The film explores the current state of disequilibrium from the perspective of immigration lawyers, as well as the complex nature of these first-generation lawyers’ identities in relation to their work. The “Tribe” has created a safe space to support and uplift one another while discussing strategies for how best to serve their clients.
