Film synopsis
""Grandma's Day" is a documentary movie that raises the important and current issue of human relations in the era of smartphones and social media. It is also a film about passing, loneliness and senility. The film is made as a part of “Film Kindergarten” – the documentary film course carried out in Wajda School. "Grandma's Day" is my film debut.
The main character is 83-year-old grandma Krysia – citizen of Pila and my beloved grandmother. For some time now, Krysia has been uncovering the secrets of social media. However, it is only an excuse to tell about something way more important...
During the process of movie making I cared mostly to address an important and universal issue. Did I succeed? The movie is also the young generation’s tribute towards seniors, sign of respect and appreciation."
