Film synopsis

"The plague of loneliness is the hardest of all

The Great Plague of 1720/Cholera of 1820/The Spanish flu of 1920/COVID-19 of 2020… And now, in the year 2120, a human-bred virus has brought humankind to its final days. Living lonely existences, two people - a man and a woman - have holed up in separate shelters that have, for the time being, allowed them to escape the ravages of the plague. Unaware of each other's existence, their days are spent reliving faint memories of their parents and the hope that somewhere in the world a partner exists who will ease the emotional pain they feel at the end of each day."
