Film synopsis
"Imran a migrant worker from Pakistan works at the fish market in UAE . Akhadas, a place of wrestling practice, have been an integral part of his life back home in Pakistan and bears many of his childhood memories. During one of the initial days in the country, Imran surprisingly came across an Akhada in the bustling streets of Dubai. This helped him re-discover himself and helped him bring back his fond memories about the sport. Akhadas in Dubai let him unleash the Pehelwaan in him, and his passion and love for the sport.
The series of films depict the incredible journey of different lives among the expatriate community in the UAE, which comprises the larger chunk of it’s total population. The films portray different stories of people who manage to find time to follow their heart and pursue their passion. Depicting “the other side” of their lives, the film explores the minds of passionate people, and their lifestyle, on how they make the right use of their time and resources to do what they really love, amidst their busy work life. "
