The Watering Room

Based on a collage of Russian fairy tales including the infamous witch Baba Yaga, the film stages a power-play between two characters, each sculpting their own version of truth. Mixing elements of horror, surrealism, and theater, the film questions why we take pleasure in the perverse, and how the boundaries of guilt can be actively re-written.
